Feb 25, 2011 · From Qeynos Hills, it was time to finally head to North Qeynos, and South Qeynos to bind. Shew. Now back to the sewers. Even though we were feeling pretty discouraged, and spent most of the evening running around (unsuccessfully) looking for camps, we didn’t give up.

Further from the gates are the Hills of Qeynos, an area jointly patrolled by Guards of Qeynos and the rangers and druids of Surefall Glade. These hills are more dangerous to the traveller, and wild animals roam freely. Haunted ruins dot the landscape, and the hideous entrance to the dark hole of Blackburrow juts out of the cliff face here.
The Qeynos Hills are a relaxing godsend after passing through the Karanas, and one just needs to follow the path to the fork in the road and turn south (left) at it, heading North (right) at the fork will lead you to the Surfall Glade, which is also a nice place to visit. North Qeynos is a short sprint away after that.

Qeynos Hills is an alternative to the noobie yard in northern Qeynos as well as an alternative for (some) of the Qeynos Sewers zone. This zone has enemies between the levels of 1 - 15 but is really only good for levels 1 - 10. When you first zone in from Northern Qeynos you'll find rats, gnolls, wolves and skeletons which range from levels 1 - 4.
Greater Lightstones are used in creating Wu's Fighting Gauntlets, one of the better Monk armors available during Classic Everquest. Also, it's one of the many different recipes that's required to learn in order to reach 350 Tailoring. The best place for you to hunt these Lightstones is probably Commonlands or Qeynos Hills.
